Description of Unit and available services:

The careful management of any arising medical emergency which may occur in the course of a clinical trial is crucial for the reputation of the Clinical research center.
The C.R.C of the "G. d'Annunzio" University Foundation is equipped with the most modern technology and facilities including a state of the art critical care unit.
All medical staff are required to complete rigorous training in emergency medicine including basic courses in cardiopulmonary reanimation with use of semi-automatic defibrillators (BLS D) and courses in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) on an obligatory and continual basis.
At the C.R.C a medical emergency reanimation team, consisting of a board liscensed physician and qualified nurse assistant, is present around the clock , "24/7" to manage any crisis situation.
