Education Programs
One of the core responsibilities of the CRC is to provide support to Principal Investigators, Study Coordinators, and other research staff in order to guarantee the implementation of successful clinical trials. For this reason, the CRC has developed a system of formal training and continuous education.
Courses currently offered at CRC include:
Methodology in Clinical Trials
The course is designed to assist Principal Investigators with their first experience with the CRC system. Topics covered by the course include: CRC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), methodology of implementation of controlled clinical trials and randomized clinical trials.
Good Clinical Practice training day
The course provides investigators or any member of the study team the training needed to comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles. The goal of the training is to ensure quality standards for designing, conducting, recording and reporting trials that involve human subjects. Compliance with GCP is critical to make sure the rights, safety and well-being of study subjects are protected, and the data originated by the study are valuable and unbiased.
Seminar Series
Throughout the seminar series, physicians, research fellows, nurses and any other staff member are exposed to state of the art seminars focused on current topics in clinical research.
