The CRC is part of the Center for Excellence on Ageing (CeSI), the major academic research facility for aging-related research in Italy.

CeSi hosts both basic and clinically-oriented research with the intent of furthering the understanding of the molecular, genetic, and environmental determinants of a vast array of aging-related conditions, including cardiovascular diseases and hypertension, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson and Alzheimer’s), dysmetabolic conditions, and diabetes.
